Pongal 2024
10 January 2024
KIMS celebrated Pongal on 10 January 2024 with a village set: a decorated hut, sugarcane, cows and a Pongal pot.
Children came in traditional clothes, drew kolam, danced on the turf and watched a potter shape clay pots.
A few photos from the day. To protect the children's privacy we show only a small selection, never names, and we blur close-up faces. Parents of KIMS children get the full albums from the school.
Come and see a normal school day
Events are the celebration. The real work happens in the classroom every morning. Come and watch a class.
